What are the elemental weaknesses of monsters? (Example - Ice Golem / Weakness is Fire) Can anyone send me a link to weaknesses or post all that you know?

I have yet to see any good public post or even in the Prima guide... what is the point of elemental upgrades unless we know what the monsters weaknesses are? Thanks...

Probably the reason you're not getting an answer is because it's not always cut and dried. Yes, an Ice whatever will take more damage from fire, but there are a lot of monsters that the damage their weak to depends on their profession rather than their monster group. The white mantle are good example. They come in all varieties and figuring our what to defend against is a matter of attacking them and seeing what they do. The best advice I can give you is to try an area and figure it out from there.

Well I know from experience that undead are damaged more by holy dmg, and ice whatevers from fire. Those are the only two I have personally seen.

Its really wierd. Ice type monsters are weak to fire. Fire type monsters are weak to ice (lol) Plant type monsters are weak to fire. I suggest using fire elemental as default.

Flash Gargoyles are somewhat weak to fire, as are Charr Ash Fiends and Fire Callers peculiarly. Plague Devourers seem to be weak to... everything.

well i will try to post my insite on this as best i can...

from what i have noticed this is what i see... All Critters are built the same way as us.. what i mean is that for Example the Charr Axe guysa re built the same way your comman Warrior is so they can have the same armor as them.. which is physical damage.. so everything else they are weak against... lets move on to another critter.. the Skelton Archers.. they have the same built as a regular ranger is (i dont knwo whats on there armor) but the skeleton rangers would have no resistance to whatever the rangers dont have..

Another Example: Plague Devourers they use Ranged weapons from there tales so they would fall under ranger armor.

Gargoyals : Meshmer armor

you get the point.. so whatever skill they are using on you, you can assumb that they are week to the same things that the players are weak to that are of the proffession.. think of it as a player with a differnt look

not as complexed as you might think
